Stanford sophomore Liam Conway secured second place overall in the men's 8-kilometer green race Friday in 24:34.5 at the Battle Born Collegiate XC Challenge at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. Conway was the lone Stanford competing in the race, taking runner-up to Utah State sophomore Bridger Altice, who ran 24:33.4.
