Colorado senior Eduardo "Lalo" Herrera took third in the men's 8-kilometer yellow race Friday in 22:35.3 at the Battle Born Collegiate XC Challenge at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas. Herrera led five Colorado scorers in the top 30 to place third overall with 70 points.
